Here is a great website I found for handling temporary emails. You can use this to register at sites that you know you don't really want mail from. 10 Minute Mail will give you a temporary email address for receiving email for 10 minutes (you can extend the deadline for another 10 minutes for as long as you want). I consider this one more weapon in our war against spam and viruses.
